We’re really pleased to see our latest tenant satisfaction results and more importantly with a response rate of 52% we know that most of our tenants feel positive about the services that we provide.
There’s a lot to celebrate- and a lot of hard work from colleagues across the organisation that has contributed to these results. But satisfaction scores are one perspective of our performance. They tell us something important about how tenants experience our services, but they don’t tell the whole story.
We know there is still work to do. We need to keep listening to tenants who are satisfied, dissatisfied and somewhere in between. We need to understand why people feel the way that they do , use feedback alongside complaints, compliments, performance data and tenant insight, and make sure that tenant voice genuinely influences the decisions that we make.
For Merthyr Housing, the real value of measuring tenant satisfaction isn’t simply achieving a good result- it’s using what we learn to improve services, strengthen trust and deliver better outcomes for tenants.
