Richard Jones donating activity packs to 2 of our NHS hero’s!
We all know that this is an incredibly difficult time for all of us but spare a thought for the young people who are in Prince Charles Hospital in Merthyr Tydfil at this time. Not only are the children in hospital over the bank holiday weekend instead of with their families but some are also in isolation and so not able to even have a visit from their family.
In the picture above you can see Richard Jones from the maintenance team who along with his wife Louise Jones who works in the hospital came up with the idea of getting together some activity books, crossword searches and even a Sudoku book along with pens, pencils, crayons and felt tip pens to help keep the young people entertained.
The idea is that once the small items have been used by those in isolation they can be put into the recycling to ensure the safety of all on the ward.
The Merthyr Housing board, Senior management team and all stall members are thrilled to be able to try to make the young people’s stay in hospital even a little bit better and we want them all to know that we are #WithYou.
