Merthyr Housing are delighted to be able to announce that we were recently awarded a silver PawPrint award from RSPCA Cymru in recognition of our commitment to animal welfare. We take great pride in this award and we will strive to ensure even greater levels of animal welfare into the future.
Lewis Clark, RSPCA public affairs adviser, said: “It really is wonderful to recognise these deserving organisations across Wales – who understandably have had a tough few months dealing with unprecedented circumstances.
PawPrints covers four areas of service provided by the public sector that has some impact on animal welfare. They are:
- stray dog services
- contingency planning
- animal welfare
Each Award has three levels – bronze, silver and gold – which carry progressively more demanding criteria.
