Community fund
As part of our commitment to working with the people of Merthyr to improve both lives and the community we live in Merthyr Housing are proud to offer our community fund.
The scheme will support innovative projects that will have a positive impact on the wellbeing of our communities. The scheme is for voluntary and community organisations based and working in the Merthyr Tydfil CBC area.
Areas of Work
Our applications will align itself with the wellbeing goals as set out by Wellbeing of Future Generations Act. This Act is unique to Wales and gives Wales the ambition, permission, and legal obligation to improve our social, cultural, environmental and economic wellbeing. Projects must support one or more of the following wellbeing goals:
- A prosperous Wales
- A resilient Wales
- A more equal Wales
- A healthier Wales
- A Wales of cohesive communities
- A Wales of vibrant culture and thriving Welsh language
- A globally responsible Wales
