Our residents group are run in the heart of the community. It gives local residents the chance to talk to us about any particular issues that are affecting them, and we look to work with tenants and other wider partners, to try and resolve these issues. The meetings are informal, where we run a coffee and chat session, allowing us to build relationships with our tenants.
You can find out more about each residents group below:
Treharris
Our residents at Treharris meet in a coffee morning style session on the third Wednesday of each month. The sessions are held at Treharris Boys and Girls Club and as well as raising any housing service-related issues, there is an opportunity to raise local concerns with local Councillors.
Georgetown
Our residents at Georgetown meet the first Tuesday of every month at Kevin Ryan Court. The meetings are an opportunity to raise any housing service-related issues, as well as raise concerns on local issues with local councillors. There is an opportunity to join their friendship group, where activities and trips are planned for residents, led by those living in the community.
Town
Our residents who live in and around the town centre meet on the last Friday of the month at St Davids Church Hall, opposite Lloyds Bank. The meetings are an opportunity to raise any housing service-related issues, as well as raise concerns on local issues with local councillors.
